Mike Blakesley Film God Posts: 12767 From: Forsyth, Montana Registered: Jun 99 posted 08-13-2011 11:42 AM                        I remember when that Oz re-release came out in the late 90s. I wanted to play it because I'd never seen it on the big screen. Our booker thought it wouldn't do any business (probably rightly so). So, we brought it in for a "sponsored" matinee, where the local chamber of commerce paid for the tickets and everybody got in free. Needless to say we were completely swamped.
