Then again, just like some old fart of a judge and pornography, I may not be able to define it (actually, I can), but I know it when I see it. It would just be a list of dates, with Coate's list of films for each date, with comments from us Film-Techers (as opposed to the general public, who comment on "other" sites). The idea is not to provide a list of all movies released on a date and it's not meant as a resource, just a place to archive all of our comments on the films in one spot -- as opposed to having a thread for each date cluttering up Yak (and eventually disappearing as the pages get older). With this idea all the dates would be gathered in one neat list. And with each date having its own thread, future films could be added easily as the years go by. Sheeeeeesh. This is being done in the spirit of things like celebrity birthdays or significant world events that occurred "on this day in history" and so forth. Please consider commenting if you have any memories of seeing the films featured in their original release or if you worked at a theater during their run and have anything worthwhile to share. I'm posting in Film-Yak for the time being. It'll be one continuous thread. If you have a better idea, feel free to share it. quote: Manny Knowles isn't this information readily available elsewhere? If Brad ever decides to move these things into their own forum, hopefully there would be one thread for each day of the year.
