I remember seeing the Q-Sound logo on Madonna's "Like a Prayer" -- I didn't recall hearing anything special going on with that CD. But there were some good spacial illusions on Roger Waters' "Amused to Death."

I just participated in a Barco survey. One of the things they asked about was whether I thought Barco should work on sound technology...

BTW has anyone tried Dolby Headphone? I can't say I've had the pleasure yet.

More gimmiks for unknowing theater owners to waste money on! I'm just stickin with good ole 5.1 and advising my customers to do so... many of which have large numbers of unused Dolby EX units or EX units pulled from service because they broke and just sitting on the shelf collecting dust right next to their 1980's film type 3-Dee lenses. Lets face the reality... a majority of theaters don't even have good 5.1 sound... so lets concentrate on fixing all those first... Or lets just go back to good old 6 track descrete with panned dialog... Nothing else even comes close to it.
