Just in case the front office of your theatre doesn't let you read the mail...

We just received a letter from Mary Ann Grasso of NATO asking for reports of problems with Technicolor and Airborne's delivery, billing or service. The letter basically asks you to describe any problems you are having, and then asks if you've been able to resolve the problems.

They want responses by Sept. 10 so they can address the problems at their board meeting in November.

I think this is important enought that even if your theatre isn't a member of NATO, if you're having problems, you should write in anyway. (Probably you should start your letter with "I'm not a member of NATO, but....")

Here is the address:

NATO
Attn: Mary Ann Grasso
4605 Lankershim Blvd.
Suite 340
North Hollywood, CA 91602

I haven't gotten that piece of mail yet. Everyone here needs to send in their problems. If other theaters (I'm pretty sure I'm right here) have half the problems I have with TES, then we all need to push for Wednesday deliveries to correct for TES's screwups on shipping junk prints and Airborne's lack of accuracy in delivering prints on time and to the correct theater.

Then again, perhaps we should just tip them off to this forum. Anyway, everyone who's had problems please take the time to send a letter to the above address. The studios won't listen to just a couple of complaints. They must receive enough to justify their concern.

Perhaps somebody could print out all of the TES incidents on this forum and send it in with their report? I highly doubt that if my theatre gets this piece of mail that I will ever see it

Wouldn't it be great if NATO banned Technicolor... Oh well, if only wee lived in a perfect world
