I get a loud banging noise on theater speakers when running DTS. This problem is usually after 5 minutes and on every movie run in DTS. When I try the Audio DTS level discs it sounds fine in the theater. I'm stumped, any educated guesses to my problem?------------------

Can you describe the banging sound? Which channels does it come from?Also, what model of the DTS player do you have? What processor is it running through, etc. The more info you give, the better chance of a quick solution.

Is it only on one movie or on all of them?

Is this DTS unit permanently installed or mobile? If mobile, does the problem follow the unit?
Does it do it on every performance or only the first show of the day?
Does this problem occur on trailers or only feature?
Is there any indication on the DIGITAL, TIMECODE, CD-ROM or READY lights?
Is the "banging noise" just one single bang, or a series of them?
