Does anybody need a brand new never used 1600 watt XENON bulb? Lamp # XBO 1600W/HS OSRAM. Does anybody know what this is used in? I will sell it or trade it if someone can use it.

It's used in a Zenith/Cinemecannica lamphouse. It has a threaded base with a "T" handle on one end, and a smooth pin on the other. There should be a 1" or so thick washer with it. You put the washer on, then screw it in....at the bulb's half life, you remove the washer, which allows the bulb to rotate 180' more. The plastic cover sometimes can be used as a tool to tighten the bulb.

Scott Norwood was looking for something like this (a smaller xenon bulb.) Give him an e-mail.

Unfortunately, I was (am) looking for an XM1600HSC, which is a different thing entirely. This is for an ORC baby xenon lamphouse. The back of the bulb screws into something and the front part is a smooth (non-threaded) post that is attached to a clamp.

According to my OSRAM bulb/lamphouse cross reference list, that bulb fits these:

Eprad "Universal" lamphouse

Orcon II console

Orc H-1600

Orc model 2500

Strong Highlight console

Strong Lume-x

Fumeo 1600

Hortson series 800 (16mm)

Thanks, Ken. So, maybe this type of bulb _is_ indeed what I am looking for. I'll send mail directly to Derek.

All you will need to get is a cable for the anode end the orc used normially the xbo1600HSC and this a hs which means no cable
