From my previous post I thought I'd voice an idea I've been thinking about for a while. I would like to suggest a new forum. The forum would include subjects with upcoming print releases. It could be used to notify others about print quirks, hard to figure out frame lines, number of reels, sound formats, etc. I would find this information useful. People who do sneak previews for prints could start the topic and other's then put theier 2cents worth in.For example:
- "Whatever It Takes" Head of reel 3 is a dark night-time rollercoaster scene on a flat print. The positioning of the visible image and the amount of black makes it hard to see where the frame line should be. Five reels, SR-D/SDDS only. Flat.
- "Erin Brockovich" 7 reels. All Digital formats. Flat.

Andrew, great idea! I'm with you, this info could be very useful to me. Not even the nuances, but just simple info like the lens and sound formats, what trailer is attached, enclosed, ect. I have to have a trailer report faxed to my Home Office on Wednesday night, and we don't get our prints until Thursday. The info that I get from Home Office is always wrong, so I have to revise the trailer report on Thursday night, which is very inconveinient with all the s**t I have to do. For example, with "The Tigger Movie", the guy at HO said that the "Mambo #5" video that's at the beginning of the first reel, was the attached trailer. Needless to say, I was very confused when I got the print. Arggggggggg!

I think that your on to something Andrew! Good Idea. I could sure use that info also. I usually am the one scheduled to work Thursday nights and I would know what I am in for before I go to work. Since I work a full time job besides and have to get up early. I usually don't know what's going on till I get there on Thursday Nights as to wether It's going to be a long night or not.Joshua Waaland

I have a list of prints from the past 14 months bearing this information. Studio, number of reels, aspect ratios, digital format, etc. Its all there! We'll start the bidding at $75.00. 
I can send a copy to Brad if you think it might help. Probably no need to post all of it. Perhaps just the past three months worth.

Starting a separate Topic for each feature on a feature-by-feature basis is a great idea! The release dates may vary in different countries, as will the labs that did the printing.According to the February NATO News, the March 3 openings are "Agnes Browne", "Chain of Fools", "Drowning Mona", "Held Up", "Jails Hospitals, & Hip Hop", "Mifune", "The Next Best Thing", and "What Planet Are You From?".
March 10 brings "East-West", "Mission to Mars" and "O".
March 15 "The Carriers Are Waiting".
March 17 opens "Condo Painting", "Erin Brockovich", "Final Destination", and "The Lifestyle".

Am interesting idea. So long as we all follow John Pytlak's idea for making a topic for EACH movie, it should be a breeze to search for the info we all need. I'll work on this and we'll give it a shot. Give me a few weeks to get it set up.

Excellent idea, and I agree that it would be a great help to those of us that makeup on Thursday nights.
For example-
IME listed Reindeer Games at 132 min
The booker gave me a running time of 114 minutes
I called Miramax, who told me 104 min.
Turns out it's about 109 minutes.

Well Tom, it looks like the Internet Movie Data Base might be the easiest and fairly accurate close guess for this info, as it lists the running time as 105 minutes.(I'll now make my first attempt at adding a link to a posting of mine. Crossing my fingers here
