When one of our theaters received its copy of Drowning Mona yesterday, can 2 containing reels 3-5 contained aproximately 2 cups of water. When I called Technicolor they said this happened to a number of copies. Anyone else have this experience? Is it just coincidence that it happened to a film with a "Water-based" title? We did have new reels by 10:30 p.m.

actually, one of the reels i grabbed felt kinda damp. no big deal at all, but now that you mention it, it was wet. innnnteresting....

Technicolor probably put the wet prints in the mircowave. And then if we get that film I bet the radar-ranged prints will come to me.

No Aaron it wasn't a Yugo. Maybe it was the fact that he was driving one of those new convertible Airborne Express vans they are testing here in "sunny" Southern California.
