My print of " Rules" had a scene where the stars were walking in the woods talking and it looked as if the camera man was on a galloping horse it was so un-steady. Also everytime a reel changed the color went to different hues. Anyone else have any problems with the print?

Are you talking about that scene right at the beginning (just before /after the two of them split up to fight the VC?) If so, that was the way it was shot. It was supposed to be a hand-held "TV news" type shot, but it was too jerky.

When we screened the film, during the woods scenes, three of us shouted in near unison "Buy a steadycam dammnit!!" or similar remark. For a court drama that had some scenes that felt more realistic than most, it was annoying to be so blatantly knocked out of the cinema experience by such a poor directorial/cinematographical decision.

It was the same on both prints. I figured it was either a universal lab error, like Sixth Sense, or it was somehow meant to be that way. Either way I didn't think getting a new reel would cure it.
