I have been collecting all the info available in our booth and compiling it, along with the film-tech stuff, in a binder.Along the way I found various sheets from this Trout's Sound & Projection Manual. Was this a complete publication? I only have a couple of sheets that I will copy and send to you Brad (along with a copy of the Ballantyne Tube amp, which I found in the booth).
I can't wait to see an answer. This has been bothering me.

They were mainly copies of manuals some very usefull info though some one has a tribute website but I can't remeber who (sorry) but they did post it on the forum

I have a complete copy of it. If anyone is interested I will send you a complete copy for the cost of copying at Kinkos. There is not too much that still pertains to todays cinemas though.

I recently found out (but haven't mentioned on the website yet), that ol' Wes got started in the business around 1914, and had been an IA member since 1916.
Therefore, he must've been well into his 80s, when he died in '78.

For those waiting I finally went fishing and found it. I guess Enid Oklahoma musta been the projector capitol of the world back then. Its 50 single sided pages to copy. Off to Kinkos it goes. I'll get a half dozen copies of it made up for those that requested it.
