Granted, it is not a magical "second coming", but it does appear to be accurate. The technology obviously works. "Mission to Mars" demonstrated this effectively on at least two scenes that I noticed after installing it.
My company now buys this option with new theaters.
While it is not as profound as the "discovery of sound" in motion pictures, it is a nice added touch. Why not use it?
When you consider the cost of chairs in a new auditorium, sound really doesn't add that much to the total cost.
Let's show movies!

You're absolutely right!! It only adds $2500 to $3000 of cost per booth. The cost depends on how many extra speakers and amps you will need. That is a tiny percentage of a new plex's cost per auditorium. It can make a definate difference in the listening experience and I highly reccomend it.
