Ran across an interesting site recently. .this gentleman has a serious thang for the venerable DP 70 (or the AA2, depending on when you came in). He has put up the history of the machine along with a complete list of theaters that are still using them, along with the head and base serial numbers for heaven's sake, and we're talking in the world here.

It's a great site put together with love by a real fan of "The Splendor of 70mm". Please look at Thomas Hauerslev's list of known existing Norelco projectors, and if you know of any not listed (by serial number), let him know where they are now, and details about their condition and use.It's so sad that theatres equipped for 70mm can't get 70mm prints to properly fill those huge screens.

I found an old DP70 sitting at the back of the Luna Leederville cinema(our other location), i found it when i was doing a relief there a month or more ago, it's a sad sight though, the head is mostly intact and the base is there as well. I gave it hug and told it that one day someone will come and put you back together again.
I've been told that it probably came from the Windsor cinema in nedlands. (glen rich?)
