Years ago at the end of a Universal film the visit Universal Studios header said to ask for Babs. Who the heck was Babs?

That was a character in ANIMAL HOUSE who, it said in the wrap-up at the end of the picture, ended-up as a tour guide at Universal Studios.------------------

Wow, that's got to be near a record. Five minutes from Mark posting a question till Tim posts the answer. And yes, Tim is correct. That's where the reference to Babs comes from. They took shots at everything else in ANIMAL HOUSE, why leave out Universal.

How many films actually carried the "Ask for Babs" tag? The only one I know which, for sure, carried that tag was The Blues Brothers. It seems that John Landis likes to pay tribute to his own, previous films in every film he makes.

"Ask for Babs" was a promotion Universal had. If you really asked, you got a T-shirt or something. The promotion ended a few years ago.There were several films that had the, "Ask for Babs" tag at the end, while the promotion was active. I don't know which ones because Universal wouldn't give us any product for almost 20 years, after a previous administration did a 'double-selling' scam.

all John Landis films distributed via Universal from Animal House on have the 'Ask For Babs' on the Universal logo.all the way up to Blues Brothers 2000.
I DID 'ask for Babs' back about 15 years ago at Universal, didnt get a t-shirt tho. (Nor did I get Babs <darn!> ) 
but the tram tour guy congratulated me on my sharp eye and then explained to the tram tour about Landis' little gag...

Does anyone know if and where it appears in each of his films?
I'll start off. In 'Blues Brothers' it's the billboard that the 'Good ol' Boys' are parked behind prior to their flubbed attempt to chase the heroes...

And of course, in Kentucky Fried Movie, it was the film playing in 'feel-a-round'.
As I recall, in Thriller, it was on a marquee.

I watched "Beverly Hills Cop III" an entire SECOND time JUST to look for the "see you next Wednesday" and still couldn't find it! I didn't notice it in "Vampire in Brooklyn" either but that movie was so crappy you'd have to pay me to watch that again.

What about Harrison Fords number plate in "American Graffiti" - THX 138 a take on George Lucas' fist major film "THX 1138" and it keeps going with the cell block number on the death star in "Star Wars" that houses Leia.Any others?
