Can anyone tell me the approximate size of the Titan A.E. standee? I have a space about 5' wide to put it in....will it fit?

I think it should. It is also about 6-7 feet tall.

Make sure you set aside 4-5 hours to assemble it. It is quite complicated. You will also need an electrical outlet-the standee is internally lighted and revolves. Odd that you're just getting around to it now-I've had mine for about two or three months.

I ordered it when it was first announced, and never got it...figured that everyone else got their orders in ahead of me. Then when I was ordering some other stuff a few days ago, I figured what the hell, and gave it another shot, and yesterday I received two of them.Thanks for the info especially about the time thing.

Tom, maybe you're a Jedi Master Standee Putter-Upper, but it took me 7 hours... but that was by myself and with a few interruptions (and of course one hand tied behind my back! 
)By far, the hardest standee I've ever put together. But I will say, it DOES have very good directions, which cannot be said for most. Just make sure you follow them EXACTLY or it'll bite yo' butt later on.

I did have my wife helping me, so I cheated. The only parts that were difficult were the base and the 'shower curtain'.
It's a difficult, but gratifying standee to assemble-I've never seen anything like that design before. It's gotten thousands of impressions in the time it's been in my lobby....
Let's just say that patrons' admiration of the display certainly did not translate into boffo box office for this particular film.
The ultimate standee for me would be kind of like the billboard for the Itchy and Scratchy Movie.

We never receive standees for the movies we show, but I was wondering what you do with the standee at the end of a movie's run? Do they get sent back or trashed?------------------

The standee might have been good, but the film itself was poor. About as good as a 1 1/2 hour Saturday morning cartoon. The dialog was especially bad; anyone over 10 years old would be bored. And I thought there was only a few good 'effects' scenes at the end.Although standees usually come with something that says; "Property of Blahbla Studios- Destroy or return when done" no one ever does and it is taken home by an employee. Really, the distributor doesn't want the trouble of having to dispose of them. If you take it home and don't do anything stupid (like sell it on E-bay) they probably don't care. When they get to an employee's home they usually only last a few months, because they are just too big. Then they are thrown away.

If it were about 1/10th the size, the Titan A.E. standee would make a great nightlight. I can't bear to throw it away(In about another week when this turkey leaves)-it'll probably go in a corner of the booth.
