Hey, anyone that wants to chat this Saturday, I'll be on line around 9:30pm. Sure, it is indicative of one's lack of ability to have a good time on a weekend, but what the heck.

I think this was the largest and longest ongoing chat yet. I hope all had a good time. Even our "guest"

I think it was 12:30 or 1 US Central Time when I finally left.

I was there, mostly lurking. I was waiting to see what the subject was before I said anything. But there were too many people, and it gets confusing with different people talking about different things and posting appearing out of order.

If there is one common subject, it's easier, but otherwise it's a little tough to have a clear conversation.

Maybe there is a way to window it so multitopics are in seperate windows?

Not on that software. However, two people can talk directly through the private feature. If the chat starts to get popular like it was last night, I'll get some more flexible software.

Does the chat software throw you out of the chat room if you don't type something?

I was mostly lurking, but all of a sudden, I was sent back to the page that says (paraphrasing) "Click here to go to the chat room?"

The current chat program is dependent on an outside server for chatting. I have absolutely no control over it. I am looking into a script that will allow me to run the program on the film-tech servers.
