We have an older Balco 5 platter system. It has seen a lot of work in it's time is beginning to show it's wounds. The arm attached to the yoyo which allows the platters to engage, does not sit properly inside the hole. The hole has gotten bigger over the years and also the spring pushes it out after you try to jam it in.

My boss won't replace it, but I was wondering what to do anyway.

Thanks
Richard

Richard,
Drill it out and press fit a shoulder type bushing in the new hole. The bushing should have a bore that will fit the pin.

These are holes (one on top and bottem) to engage the motor during threading. The simple solution would be to go slightly higher and drill a new hole the same size. Be careful not to damage the control wiring inside.
