For a while ago, I posted a question about Altec speakers and crossovers in the Forum. A theatre I tried to equalize had an ugly dip around 1k that I couldn't fix no matter what I did. You replied with, as it turned out, the right answer to the problem, and enough information about Altec crossovers and cut frequencies to do something about it.
We had new crossovers built for the Altecs that split around 1.5 k and that ugly dip is now gone! We'll have to redo the curve, of course, but it certainly looks like the whole thing is now manageable, thanks to your input.
So, in so many words, thanks a lot!
Thanks for the response! I hope all works out well. I'm a bit of an Altec buff (speakers only) and still find them to be the best sounding speakers...perhaps it is just what I grew up with!

PS...one way to have posted your message would have been to find your original post and add it there....that will send it to the top of the forum. To ensure I read it, you can always used that tried and true, e-mail
