Received a flyer through the post today from an organisation calling themselves The Association of Film Projectionists. They are offering membership/newsletter and the entitlement to use the letters AFP after your name in exchange for an annual subscription of around £50.Does anyone know who is running this,what there affiliations are etc?

Dick - I've had one as well. See the thread titled 'Attention UK Readers - is this a scam?' on Film-Tech.It looks to me like someone is trying to make a quick buck to me. The sad thing is that at £56 a time, all it takes is for three or four suckers to fall for it and (s)he's probably made a tidy profit.
