I have a Ballantyne that I bought from NTE last Winter with a bent sound drum shaft that I'd like to replace. More than a month ago, John Eickhof e-mailed me that it was ready to ship and I've been trying in vain for the past month to contact him both by e-mail and by phone to have it sent out, but my e-mails go unanswered as do my phone calls. Is he okay? Should I send condolences to the family? I just wanna get this thing off my workbench.

John is ok. He had some problem with his email provider. I received email from him last night.

John....got your e-mail and the check is in the mail (REALLY!). I tried to reply to your e-mail and that didn't go through either, so I've reverted to the good ol' USPS. That mail server must really be pranged (good old Air Force terminology for the sound something makes when hit by a whirling propellor). Thanks for getting back to me.

malfunctions of their email system over the last week or so...(Its FUBAR) anyway, they say it's OK now, but I still think it's still FUBAR! Take 'er easy!!! John------------------
