I am bit of a pack rat of sorts and I like to collect things. Anything. In the curious department, does anybody know where I can could get a couple of Carbon Arc rods? I have have seen numerous posts lately on the carbon arc lately and it has gotten me thinking. I really don't want anything outragious. Just something basic to have and show.

Chris, I have a box or two, but I promised them to Josh Jones. I would need his permission to send you a negative and positive rod.

Just thinking what an experience it would be to do arc welding or striking arcs while wearing metal armor. Boiled lobster comes to mind...

I was just looking to find an outlet to get a negative and positive rod, but hey, I will never look a gift horse in the mouth. My theatre's address is

Regal Cinemas Colonnade 14 #840
8880 South Eastern Avenue
Las Vegas, NV 89121

You guys really don't need to send me any, but I do appreciate it. Thanx...

Well, Chris, most of us on film tech are just willing to be helpful, since we are all in the same boat.
