Does anybody know of a supplier for a prefabricated alarm panel for exit doors? The type I am speaking of would be positioned at the usher's station, and would have a light and a switch for each exit door being monitored. When a door opens, the light for that door is lit and a buzzer goes off. The usher can mute the buzzer by turning the switch associated with the activated zone; then after checking the door can re-set the light.

We used to be able to get a modified burglar alarm panel made by DSC that would do this job; it was overcomplicated (way more ics and stuff in it than it needed ) but it worked. This unit has been discontinued.

Simplicity is the key. We want a light for each zone; a 3 position switch for each zone (normal, silence, and reset), and the buzzer. No codes, passwords, or complex stuff at all.

Yes, I know I could build them. But perhaps someone has already done that for me?

Do you want to daisy chain the sensors for the doors or can you pull a pair from each?
