Just for the record, I have been informed that "PH" has been shown once June 21, 2001 in 70mm DTS in Tokyo, Japan.See this link for a similar performance of "Dinosaur" in 70mm DTS.

When 70mm prints are made for a particular theatre for a special showing or premier, are they available for screening elsewhere when the initial booking is completed? For example, what happened to the "one-of" 70mm prints made for the Spektrum in Oslo?------------------

Most of the 70mm DTS prints used in Oslo are in the hands of the local film museum. "Star Wars" was sent back to LucasFilm.
The Disney films from Japan are not available.

Was the print subtitled? Or did they use DTS disks with a Japanese soundtrack?
There's a picture of this screening in last Friday's Boston Globe newspaper.
