Have any of you guy's noticed any problems with your prints of 'Tomb Raider'? We cannot get our's in pin sharp focus at all, just slightly out. One minute it seems to be in focus, and when the scene cuts, it is out again.Any of the guy's in the UK noticed any problems, as i believe we have a UK print.

Our print (here in the USA) also had poor focus. Quite frankly, I thought it was just a cheap printing job, as no one wanted to spend very much for a totally forgettable film.

Many scenes on the print I saw seemed very underexposed, which were then printed up (at least several stops). Resulting in grainy images with washed out blacks - nasty. Super-35 according to the imdb.

Super 35 (by itself) does not automatically mean a poor picture... Look at "Titanic" for example. But, it does require more planning by the DP.I wish I saw one of the few 70mm "Titanic" prints. I heard the image quite good. And, if anything would reveal grain, I would think that a Super 35 blow-up to 70mm would.

I didnt have any more than usual problems with the focus but we have big screens and it normaly very hard to focus

We had Print No. DSD 304, and during its run here, I viewed one of our public screenings from the front row, and didn't notice any problems with focus, though I did feel that we were running it a little on the quiet side...One mobile phone call later and it sounded fine...
