I once did some service for the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in Toronto. The main hall had a pull-down screen and a booth with a pair of Japanese made Fuji-Central projectors. I'm just curious if any more of these made it over here. These were big old black krinkle-painted jobs that looked quite old. The projector head is hard to describe, kind of like a cross between an old Simplex XL and a Zeiss Ernemann 9, (counterclockwise rotating upper sprocket). The soundheads were SH-1000 copies. I'd guess they date from the 60's but could be much older. The lamps were Xebex (2K vertical I think). Does anyone know if this company is the Fuji of today?

I serviced that place many times
The projector are a copie of the ernaman 7 and the sound head is a RCA photophone copy (toshiba)
The lamphouses were by fuji and were a verticle lamps shining downward into a 45 degree mirror
The rectifiers are a saturable core mag amp much like the sanrex
