Can anyone tell me how to get the Auto strike to work using a Irem rectifier to a Super Lumex or Super 80 Lamp. I'm not doing something right with the no voltage in the auto strike circut. Thnaks for your help.

You may have to change the zenier diode to a lower voltage one HTe IREMs typically have a lower no load voltage

Alan -- It's either change out a zener diode on the firing board or install a new board, depends on what you're up to. The normal board in the SLX looks for >120VDC to fire, and the IREM develops at best 80-90.Pat

Super Lume-x's usually have part number 39981 igniter circuit board (100 vdc "No Load") installed. You can either buy part number 39966 igniter circuit board (85 vdc "No Load") or you can convert your existing igniter board into the 39966 by simply changing Zener Diode number VR201 from a 1N5374A (75 volt) to a 1N5369A (51 volt) then mark the board that it has been converted.Also, Strong makes a wiring harness kit to connect the Super Lume-x to Irem power supplies -- # 39879 Wiring kit & cable assembly, Irem power supply to Super Lume-x.
