I recently attended a Kodak projection school and we used a laser alignment kit for lamphouse alignments and was wondering where i can purchase one or get one made. If im not mistaken the one we used was custom built. So if anyone knows how i can obtain one it would be wonderful. Some of the houses here are in desperate need of an alignment.

Get one at this link. I've used this one and been very pleased with the results. It also won't break your pocketbook.

I e-mailed Greg. Do you know what they roughly cost ?

The cost is about 1/4 of a "factory" unit and is more flexible and not specific to one company.........

The align-o-tron is excellent and affordable. You can order them thru Scott Hicks' American Cinema Equipment (www.cinequip.com) in Portland, Oregon

NCS, Cincinnati branch is also selling a laser alignment kit made by Rick's Flm Service in Canada. I think the price is going to be around a couple hundred dollars. The one I saw was very well made and required you to tighten down an allen screw to activate the led. I've got one ordered for myself.

Thanks for the plugs guys!
Suggested retail (I love that line) is $200 but (here comes another one) prices may vary. American Cinema Equipment does have them as well as The Marble Co. My first run is sold out but I'm in the process of making up another batch, which should be done by the end of Feb, if not before.
Accept no substitues (wish I knew how to make that flash) order the original Align-O-Tron today!------------------
