From an interesting site in Vancouver, a pre-qualifier test for sound contractors (funny, but it's got some good stuff too)--minimum passing score is 100%:

I missed four out of 20 when I first took the test. I swear question #13 is wrong.

Yeah, I don't think they provide enough info to answer that one (probably assuming 8281 or somesuch). Depends on the coax--several kinds will fit into a BNC.Paul

yeah I missed 4 too. in the answer, they specified RG-58, but that doesnt make sense because RG-58 is a 50 ohm cable and most video and audio transmission lines are 75 ohm.Josh

Flipping through my bulk cable book, I only find 50 ohm cable listed under the miniature camera section.I missed six, then corrected *one* of my answers and came back with just one wrong. Maybe their script is outta whack?

Aside from that, RG 58 and its bigger cousin RG 8 is used primarily for RF service.Josh

RG58 50ohm cable is used for interconnections between Sennheiser infra red system transmitters and radiator panels . I think the similar Williams products use the same cable.
