For those theaters getting SLACKERS, you should have received a notice from Sony Pictures explaining that there is a problem with sync in the last half of reel 3. You should have also received a replacement reel 3 by now and if you have not, please send me an email with your fax number so I can fax the notice to you, or, call Sony distribution for information.YOUR DTS DISCS ARE FINE AND DO NOT NEED REPLACMENT

I was under the impression that only *some* reel 3s had sync problems. Mine played perfectly.

Mine was all out of wack! The audio was like 30 seconds ahead it seemed. I could do nothing but just switch it to SR.So its the end of reel 3, I thought it was the start of reel 4.

Tim,If the whole film is out of sync, then check your DTS player's offset setting. Count frames from the DTS reader's lens to the projector's picture gate. Multiply the total frame count by 1.25 and then subtract one from the result. Be sure the value you get is dialed up in the offset switches on the DTS player.
