I just sent a copy of the FP20 manual to Brad, a few days ago, so he should have scaned, and added to the manuals forum soon. There's a lot of pages to this one, includes wireing too.

Just a guess, but you will notice that there are no Kinoton manuals, and only the discontinued AA2/DP70 has any info here: the FP20 is still in production as far as I know. Kinoton is a bit tight with technical information, presumably they don't want unqualified people messing with the machines. Maybe they've requested that their manuals not be posted here.

The FP20 (as it has historically been made) is out of production. There is an FP20A that is in production but it is really a value priced FP30, rather than a reincarnation of the FP20. I think they had a naming conflict with using the FP30A since there was one of those already!
In any event, yes Kinoton does strictly enforce their copyright on their manuals. I don't think the Norelco manuals had a copyright or perhaps Kinoton does not control the Norelco copyright on the manuals that predate Kinoton assuming control of the projection equipment Norelco made.

Contact Kinoton or a dealer for a manual, they don't want others to distribute them.

I have some FP50A manuals, Which have the same head and Mech as the FP20A's.
These are the Kinoton versions tho not Phillips! Or are they the same?

Most of the mechanics in the ‘new’ kinoton range are more or less the same as the ‘traditional’ FP20’s (apart from soundhead and turret / aperture plate changers etc) but the electrics are totally different. There were, I think, three different designs of electric turret / plate changer on the old FP20's.

No, don't have any relations called Chris. Mind you, I don't have any relations daft enough to work in this industry either! I hail from the west country and worked all over Cannon Cinemas south west region (and there successors) before moving over to the engineering side.
