I am in Aspen, CO. re-installing 5 MDS masking controlers. All work ok but need fine tuning for speed and travel distance. How does one program them properly? There are 4 numbered buttons, a S/P button which is obviously for stop and programming mode, and two arrow buttons. I was able to re-program in a reverse direction one of them but that was about it.....
Thanks in advance for any help!!

Hi MarkFrom your description i assume these are MDI masking controlers .
Here is how to program them----
Assuming you are going to use button #1 for flat and button #2 for scope--
For FLAT
--Press and hold the S/P and the #1 button until the red light flashes
--Use the arrow keys to jog to the FLAT position
--Press one of the # keys to set the speed --- #1 i believe is the fastest and #4 is the slowest
For SCOPE
--Press and hold the S/P and the #2 button until the red light flashes --Use the arrow keys to jog to the Scope position
--Press on of the # keys to set the speed
good luck
Francis

Thanks Feancis for the info. Sounds easy enough. These are nothing more than glorified Baldor motor controlers and they had no previous problems that I know of with them...we are re-installing 5 of them here in Aspen in a theatre that went bust after it was open for 9 months, it was taken over by one of our customers after bankruptcy. He bought back all the equipment which was hacked out with a sawzal This place has been a big jigsaw puzzel!! We re-open on Friday the 21st.
