I thought of something involving theatre subwoofers including the powered types. If you heard an electronic,church or electric organ sometimes rattle the windows inside a church or heard that weird guitar sound on the track 'ANY COLOR YOU LIKE' on the Pink Floyd 'DARK SIDE OF THE MOON' album, it comes from a Leslie or similar organ speaker. The idea is connecting a Leslie or similar organ speaker behind the screen to the booth processor subwoofer channel output or using several of these speakers in the theatre such as for Sensurround. You may not want to use the part of the speaker that generates the familiar 'gargle'-like sound unless you want to use it for effects such as an organ part of a film.
These types of speaker usually have a vacuum tube or solid state amplifier inside them besides the low frequency drivers.

Let's take it one step farther and feed LF to a PC which would in turn operate the magnet valves of a pipe organ.

Better yet...have the PC operate the valves that feed hydraulic pistons so that you could REALLY shake the auditorium.
