A few of our processors are not playing any non-sync music. They are switching to Format 60, it's just that there is no sound coming out of the speakers. There isn't even a sginal level indicator on the front panel display. Could this be a problem with the distribution amplifier? I even tried switching the NS input cables to NS2 and playing Format 61, but nothing. Suggestions?(Brad: please edit the title of this thread to say "No non-sync...."

Mmmmm. Try listening to or metering the send itself (a Walkman-style headphone will produce a just-audible output on a line-level signal, or use one of those little Rat Shack self-powered speakers). If the send is good, check the 650 level-trim for the N/S input. If the level-trim is OK, the 650 may be having a case of DSP hiccups (been seeing that lately on a few of them here). If the send is dead, try swapping that screen's send to a known good output on the DA (assuming the sends are labled). If the send is still dead, the problem is somewhere in the send. Otherwise the problem is with that output on the DA.Ogenki de,

Actually, the CP-650 DOES have level meters on the front (lower left portion of the display).If you have anything that can put a signal out directly (CD or tape player or even that walkman) plug it directly into the CP-650's non-sync input to verifiy it is indeed the CP-650 at fault. The factory has the input level at half as it's default. That may be a bit low for some.
