I would settle for a Christie SLC Series or a Strong X-90. 
I prefer not to have these. Reason? They are "Light Sponges" and lamp focus gears are made of plastic....other than that, they are not too bad except or the VA-101 automation. Having lots of problems with them.

HiThe X-90 is interesting, but I prefer the super Highlight where the xenon lamp adjustement is more easier.

If you want an X-90 with easy to reach controls then buy a Strong Lumex lamphouse / rectifier and mount it on a pedestal 
The ORC frame was not chopped enough....I have customers who would pick it up and restore it..

Christie SLC all da way!Paul, those ORC consoles ROCK! I just LOVE the mega-versatile automation. It never fails and you can program it to do sooo much! And ORC knows that horizontal bulbs are just a sham. They also know that light is overrated and customers really do not want very much of it.

Kinoton consoles and lamp houses are my favorates,they give good light and easy to maintain.Changeing lamps is simple and straight forward. 10 out of 10 they are the best.

I dislike consoles in general. I therefore second the concept of the Super Lume-X (or Ultra-80) on a pedestal and rectifier. Kinoton does make fine lamphouses though they really only fit well on their projectors (the "universal" variety) though you _can_ get one to kinda fit on a pedestal.Steve
