Who cant tell me the right manner to adjust the presure of the roller between the motor shaft and the platter ?

Any help will aprecied

I can only guess your asking that question because your sick of getting 'flat' spotted rollers and having to order new (idlier)rollers at $120 each.

I got mad about it too.
My Solution was to let them slip (ie NOT GRIP TOO MUCH)

To do this just wind the screw in only two FULL turns.

Timing the CNR-35(5) for me has been a pain in ASS for years.

Going to full speed at the payout brain at startup - then take-up not getting to speed.

Be CAREFUL not to try to adjust the take up arm.
ONLY do the the timing from the the control card pot.

Also dont break the payout/arm/pot. the POT cost 450 dollars!!

The Manual is pretty good, but I don't get how the control card has only
one trim-pot that that effects pay-out and take-up at the same time.

BTW Cinemacannica and Christie platters share a few 'traits' but I dont know who copied who.

PS I prefer Speedco platters (the single take up roller type)
