The prints of Swimfan I received had a florescent (sp?) orange sticker that said SPECIAL and also stamps next to the reel id there was a square box with the letter S in it.My print #'s were 5000, but the number that was attached on one print was real low and the other no wheres near that?
Anybody have an idea?

Just some guesses:Printed on KODAK VISION Premier 2393? (check the magenta edgeprint)
A direct "EK" print? (used original cut negative)
A Technicolor dye transfer print? (look for silver only soundtracks)
A print with deliberate silver retention? (e.g. Deluxe ACE process: http://www.theasc.com/magazine/nov98/soupdujour/pg2.htm )
I recall that "Swimfan" is from 20th Century Fox, who usually have Deluxe Labs do the printing.

The print I ran for a New York press screening was #34. It had nothing special on it. It was a brand new print from Deluxe.

I looked on the edges and it was 2383 stock. Had green edges where the SDDS soundtrack would have been.I will have to check with my booker to see if they know anything.

My print of Mr. Deeds had the same sticker on the tail of the last reel. Low print number (like everything but BVP prints), less than 100. I thought it was what somebody at the lab had for lunch... it looked like a deli sticker.
