I may have the opportunity to aquire an old Prevost 35/70 projector for free. I am pretty sure I am going to take it, it is in good shape just needs some cleaning. I was just wondering if you all think it is worth my time or not. I think it is.Thanks

I've only met two Prevost or Prevost clone installations for the last 30 years: One 35mm only and the clone Zeiss Ikon Favorit 70, which is a Prevost with another label on it. Both running absolutely perfect. The 35 was 14 days old, but the Favorit 70 had been running for about 14 years at that time, without any trouble.I don't know, how the spare part situation is, though. -But othervise, go for it !

It is probably a P-70 which is a great machine...if complete with pedestal and 35/70mm parts it usually goes for $2500. We sell parts but they are not cheap since they are rarely required.
