ken sorry to be an ass about this but can you read i said its not in the manual to the left the link! if you want to help me please do but dont say its in the manual when that is for a diffrent automation system please read it more then once or clean your glasses!

According to the manual, the SPATS 2 was not designed for interlock operation. I suggest calling the manufacturer at (321) 269-4720 and see what they can come up with.

i know they can do interlocks it says it on the front of the automation!

I assure you Ken Layton can read. He is also one of the most knowledgeable people on this forum. Perhaps you could be a bit nicer to him? He is also correct. The RGM spats2 manual is in the manuals section on this website. He is also correct that the manual does not show any provisions for interlocking.Not haveing one of these units sitting in front of me, what is the exact lettering of where it tells you it can interlock on the front panel? in the manual one of the buttons is referred to as "inter" but it is for an intermission function not interlock.
Now all that said even if there is no provision built in for interlock it can probably still be done with a couple of switches possible some relays and a little creative thinking and some fun with a soldering iron.
Basically what you need is a button to start both projectors at the same time, another to stop both at the same time and a switch to connect both failsafes to eachotherso that one dropping will stop both projectors. Most techs should be able to build you something, however over the phone or internet could prove to be very tricky.
But before doing that, follow Ken's suggestion and call the manufacturer.

Perhaps it is you who can not read. Look at the last page of the manual in the manuals section. It is for your precious Spats II /sob and it is even for sync operation. Without having one of the units here to look at I can't be completely sure, but it looks like you merely have to interconnect terminals 11,12&13 of TB10 between units for sync operation.
It also appears to me that the /sob portion is merely an add on to the spats II in which case the manual is pertinent to your unit
