Hello everyone:

I have in my possession a freshly minted BETA version of Theatre Design Pro v3.1.

While I think it's pretty good and pretty stable, it is a BETA version, so all the usual caveats apply. Back up your current files, work on COPIES of your TDP project files with the BETA version of 3.1, etc., etc.

I would very much value suggestions, feedback and bug reports from anyone willing to evaluate the Beta Version.

If you send me an e-mail at: dwight@schneideroptics.com I'll mail you the Beta.

Thanks,
Dwight

FYI:

I'm sending the BETA by e-mail at the moment, although I've had some mail systems reject it because it's an executable file (.exe) and some systems reject it because it's too large (1.5MB). I'll have it on the web early next week and I'll post the URL here.

We are on a very fast track with this so I need your feedback as soon as possible.

Thanks to all who are helping with this.
Dwight

The current Beta is posted on our web site at:

I expect a new version of the Beta every few days now.

We're getting close. Thank you to everyone who's taken the time to test and give us bug reports. It really helps a lot.

Dwight

Hello, Dwight,

I have downloaded this B version and have had great success with the screen tilting both forward and backward. This feature really is helpful when changing from the 35/70 booth on the 4th floor to the video projector in the seating for business meetings. This takes the mystery out of the keystone correction.

The projector light beam is a neat addition to the graphics.
I have not had the chance to test the other features but thus far the program is singing.

Sincerely, KEN
