Noticing Atilla Mazlumca's posting in the Equipment Buy/Sell forum, does Dolby really no longer supply DA10 components? They must have sold a lot of them so they ought to have parts or is it simply that they don't supply something as substantial as a main board figuring if that's gone you might as well buy a DA20?
And welcome to Film-Tech, Atilla!

Last I heard was Dolby was giving out free DA20 upgrades in exchange for a DA10, a sort of "buying back" of the DA10s. Something about how the DA10 had a specific use in non-cinema systems. (Don't quote me on this though.)

Normally Dolby does supply the mommie boards for units like this but I'm pretty sure that the DA-10 had a VERY short life / production run. It was in tjhe same package as the DA-20 but the chassis was full of cards. Its gotta be in Dolbys interest to pull them back in when ever possible. Ya gotta remember that it cost around 20 grand for one of those and a CAT 699 reader.
