Can anyone tell me what I should use to lubricate a friction roller on an Ernemann 8b. Since there is a piece of filt, giving the friction, I don´t want to use oil, right?

Light oil should be used on the felt and shaft, it prevents the felt from flufing and maintains better control of tension. [thumbsup]

The felt should be soaked in take up clutch oil like the silcone ones supplied by cinemecanica
the shaft can be lubed with projector oil
