Does anyone have any idea as to the total weight of aBauer U2 with the lamphouse on and the original base. I am guessing it to be over 600 pounds but I thought someone would have a better idea. I need to see about having the truck floor reenforced to hold the extra weight. Thanks for the help. [thumbsup]

Double that at least, then add double that for a good safety factor.....assumming that you have the Bauer base with it.

I just heard back from S. Froeschle at www.kinobauer.de and he stated that the wieght of the U2 with Carbon Arc lamphouse is approx. 840 lbs. The weight with a Xenon lamphouse would be 775 lbs. I believe I will use 1000 for each projector and add an extra 1000 for safety measures. This way I will be sure the floor and springs will support the weight. I am also adding trailer jacks to the 4 corners to stabilize the truck when running the movie. [beer]
