Hi everyone,

Just a question: we project to convert our direct scan analogs readers on ours 4 Monee projectors to reverse Scan red light readers. We asked to Component Engineering, but they say that din't develop an reader to upgrade the Monee, because they are too different fron the Century projector.
Has anyone an idea to convert these sound reproducer ?

The best for me will to throw away theses [bs]

projectors and install a Cinemeccanica... [Big Grin]

Kelmar and BACP have a Westrex kit that should work

I did an install last year at a 8 plex with monee projector and used the Century Component Engineering reverse scans units. The only modification I had to do was to drill one of the holes for the mounting bracket so it would fit the monee.

We've fitted our lasers on MONEE machines with total success. Is the quickest retrofit kit and to date we have not had one laser wear out (would like to hear the same said about any LED reader !)

The Kelmar AT-1274W will work for you projector. No need to scrap the projector [Smile]

ICS in Australia make a high performance red-LED reverse scan reader to suit Monee projectors. You can order them from Panalogic (sales@panalogic.com).
