Looking for advice on what materials to use to build a screen for my back yard. Also, size for the correct ratio for flat and scope. Distance to screen from booth will be about 50ft. How well would and indoor screen hold up outside in the weather? Thanks for any advice/plans/info.

The first thing I would do is to check with the insurance company for your property. Depending upon what the insurance might cost you because you would have to build the screen to with stand winds in excess of 150 mph. Also check with the zoning law in the county where you live. They also have the right to say yea or nea and you could have somebody complain to your county property commission. Just want to make you aware of what could happen to you in FL. I myself live in Orange county out side of Orlando, but they do have laws telling you how your property should be maintained.

Also, the Cinemadude is using an indoor screen outdoors, but it may be sheltered by the bandshell and/or covered??? It would seem to me that any fabric not UV treated would degrade over time....
