In R1, when the little girl walks in the front door, during the conversation between the girl, her mother, and Uma, there are two or three "BEEEEEEEP" sounds.

Since we were watching in DTS, I'm assuming it's a plot point and not a defective disk which is why I'm posting it here instead of the FHF. But if it was a plot point, I didn't get it. In fact no one screening it got it. Maybe we were all up a little too late or something.

So what was it?

Wow , we had the same Beep's on the HD ,master tape we transfered to DLP to do preview screenings for BVI about a month ago, there are thre beeps in that scene and then another beep later in the film in the Resteraunt scene when Uma chops the Arm off the girl. The copy we had was totally un-cut so not sure if this scene is complete in the US or UK censored versions.

Great film even after wathcing in 6 times in one day.

We thought that the beeps were because it was an unfinished master, and the beeps indicated where dialogue was to be replaced or something. We also never had any end credits.

Cant wait to get the 35mm print next week and compare the two.

the beep is there because they don't want you to know the main characters real name. It is not a sound problem. They want you for now to know her as her code name.

Well FHF would make more sense to me than Ground Level.

Somebody else might think it's a problem... so FHF it goes.

(Please explain the logic behind Ground Level, really, I'm stumped.)

I must have missed the later beep in the restaraunt scene.

To explain why I put it in Ground Level, I guess... [uhoh]

The tone beeps in reel 1 have been in place for the last 3 months. They are on the mag Printmaster track. It is not a problem the Director knows they are on the soundtrack. We have been working with them in post-production on this picture for the last few months.

Those beeps are great! Wish they had used them more often. When the first one went off, all of my friends and I looked at eachother, then one said " [bs]

! They're not going to tell us her name.

Makes me wonder how many people will come out and complain about sound problems though.
