Ok, I have now had my CP55 modified to split surround, this is now driving 2 channels on my surround amp, left and right.

As we are not running any digital yet, is my surround just mono, using 2 amp channels or do i actually have left and right surround? I am so confused! [Confused]

As of right now you are running Mono surrounds using 2 amp channels. As the surround Channel off of the Optical track will not distiquish left surround and right surround information
