Hi everyone
I'm trying to think what is the best way to configure a CP650EX to work properly with DTS-ES features. There is a specific format that can be assigned to User 1/2 but it's not so simple.
1. The player is configured to kick Format 11 and not User 1.
2. I can have the automation switch the format for me but I always preferret to have DTS to switch automatically to prevent problems (just to say one: if DTS is left turned off for mistake).
3. If DTS drop just one time during the movie it will come back to Format 11 and not User 1.
Apparently the best solution is to have a switch on the front of the rack that select Format11/User1 so that the player can switch to the correct format automatically.
I also thought to the AUX relais projector: I can set a specific program on my automation (Cinemeccanica's Vector 1000) that one of the AUX relais instead of putting a manual switch.
What is the best solution for you?
Bye
Happy new year!

While I am against quoting entire posts, inparticularly when it is the one right above that is being responded to, I feel this is an exception.

Thank you for making a ridiculous and completely useless post. Now please imagine if all 2000 members made a reply post such as "no idea", "sorry can't help", "maybe somebody else knows how" just how BLOATED the forums would be! It would make finding the valid information impossible.
If you can offer some help, please do. If you can't, just stay silent.

Brad,
Do you have any suggestions? I can't believe that you don't have a DTS connected to a 650EX!
Happy new year
