On the Cat 243 control logic card there is a J2 jumper that needs to be set to no surrounds in Nonsync position. You will find this jumper in a jumper holder below the J2 jumper position.

Just out of curiousity, why don't you like the surrounds in non-sync?

Steve,

Its not that i don't like it, it's because i use the non sync input for PA use as well and when using a mic the delay is of putting, also on certain CD's you get a very odd surround effect. A bit like being in the middle of a football stadium!
