You know that intermission you weren't suppose to have? Where did you put it? This is probably best answered by those of you folks "across the pond". I don't want to get anyone here in trouble.
I have to run this at a local event in 16mm when it goes non-theatrical the end of March. With the equipment available, one EIKI EX-6100 with 6000' reels, we can't run a continuous show.
Doing a search I found only one reference to placement at the end of 35mm reel 4. Was that the "official" place to put it? Any other suggestions?

In looking at how the movie is laid out over the 10 reels, the end of reel 4 is just about the only decent place to put it. There is a major battle scene spread over reels 5-6 and as I recall the changeover from 6-7 is not at a scene change. I would stick with 1-4, then 5-10.

The official place to put the intermission is at the end of reel 4.

I was told at the end of reel 4

Looks like the end of reel four has the most votes. That puts it at the end of reel two on a 16mm print and makes it easy. Thanks guys.
I wasn't counting changeover cues when I watched the film. What is going on in the story at that point? I plan to see it again next week and just need a reference point.
