There is a hole in the base of the AW3 brain just below the upper roller. I have never really given much thought to its purpose before but is there anyone who knows why the hell it is there?

I think there's a little white post that is supposed to be screwed in there.

Mike
I don't think it is. The brain only has four white posts and if this were for another then that would make five. Not only that the post would be pressing on the underside of the top roller.

Oh -OK.

You mean underneath the top roller. I thought you meant under, looking at the brain from a top view (which was making me wonder which side you considered to be the top.)

I was just sent a private message stating that this is a hole for an L-shaped bracket that holds an air pot for the arm of the brain. Has anyone ever had one of these and what are they like?

Sorry to stray off-topic, but the title of this thread "Hole in AW3 Brain" makes me think of Mad Cow Disease. [evil]

The thread is about Mad Cow disease. You must already be afflicted if you can't see that. [Big Grin]

BTW, now we know why Soylent Green would be a really bad idea.
