Is it possible to convert a "fixed brain" AW3 to a removable brain and what parts would be needed? ROTK was just a pain in the butt to lift on and off the AW3.

New axles and new removable brains. (You could save a few bucks by only purchasing the removable brain plate and then transferring the rollers and such over.) The axles can be exchanged with only 4 bolts.

I'm currently doing the same, saving money by ordering parts that are necessary and reusing the old. Get your bearings locally, alot cheaper. Does anyone have the part number for the u-shaped bracket that goes on the filter assembly or do you have to order the whole enchilada. The manual only lists the whole filter assy. [beer]
